Library Administrative Assistant (part-time)
Hollins University is seeking qualified candidates for the part-time position of Library Administrative Assistant for the Wyndham Robertson Library. Reporting to the University Librarian, this position works 25 hours/week Monday through Friday with flexibility on the number of days and number of hours each day.
The administrative assistant serves as the liaison with the university Business Office, including submission of check requests and management of credit cards; maintains files/records of library expenditures, including the travel and professional development budget; orders and maintains office supplies; provides logistical support and planning for library events; and actively participates in and fosters an environment that supports diversity and inclusion.
Successful applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent; proficiency with Microsoft Office; excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; and demonstrated high level of attention to accuracy and detail. Preferred candidates will have administrative support and/or library work experience.
