Junior/Senior category: Hailee Brandt (’25) for “Processing Warfare and Navigating Defeat: The Mexican Narrative Constructed During the Mexican American War of 1846-1848”, nominated by Assistant Professor
“Women During Wartime” is an exhibit from the Hollins University Archives, now shown on the third floor of the Library. Through photos, scrapbooks, clothing, diaries, and other archival materials, the exhibit shows the activities of students and alums during the Civil War, WWI, WWII, Korea, and Vietnam.
