Guest Borrowers and Visiting Researchers
Hollins University welcomes all area residents to use the Wyndham Robertson Library.
- If you need academic sources or want to use one of our databases. We can most likely assist you.
However, we do not offer the same services as the public library.
- If you need access to printing, technology, or popular reading, we recommend you use the public library system. The closest public library branch is the Hollins branch on Peters Creek Road. Here is a link to Roanoke County Public Libraries.
- We encourage you to call us at 540-362-7465, e-mail us at library@hollins.edu, or chat with us online before your visit, to help ensure the success of your visit.
To help us maintain an effective and enjoyable working environment for the Hollins community, use of the library and its resources is contingent upon your agreement with the following principles:
- Respect others, do not engage in disruptive behavior. Disruptive behavior interferes with or disrupts anyone’s ability to learn or work in the library.
- Be responsible, if you bring children under the age 12 into the library, do not leave them unsupervised.
- Respect library materials, treat them with care so that others may enjoy them.
- We welcome all service animals; please do not bring non-service animals into the library.
