Come check out two new archival exhibits on the library’s second floor! The first, Hollins History in Objects: The Tiffany Clock, 1890, shows the history of a luxury gift made by the Hollins faculty to college President Charles Lewis Cocke and his wife Suzanna on their 50th wedding anniversary.

Deadly Dosage: Poisonous Plants in Hollins’ Books explores danger in rare books and a student thesis (on the Beale Garden!) from the library’s Special Collections. Deadly Dosage was created by Ari Carter (’27) during an internship in the Hollins Archives.

Antique books with botanical drawings in a display case. One black and white plant photograph and one modern book with a color photo of a plant with yellow flowers.
