Following a successful pilot program last year, the Library is announcing year two of the Textbook Reserves, now with four departments participating. This program joins our existing Course Reserves in which individual faculty can choose to place required and recommended texts on reserve, and the Open Education Resources (OER) program, which helps faculty select and provide zero-cost course texts. Together the library and university hope our efforts will reduce course costs and support students from all socioeconomic backgrounds, following the strategic plan objective to “Eliminate hidden costs and barriers to participation in the full range of learning experiences at Hollins.”

For more information about these programs contact your librarian or email us at library@hollins.edu.
