Come join us for a reading by critically acclaimed author Crystal Hana Kim, followed by a book signing and reception. This event is open to the public.

Crystal Hana Kim’s most recent book is The Stone Home (William Morrow 2024), finalist for the 2024 Maya Angelou Book Award; it was named Best Book of the Year by NPR, Booklist, ELLE, and Real Simple, and longlisted for the Joyce Carol Oates Prize. Kim’s If You Leave Me was named a best book of 2018 by over a dozen publications. She is the recipient of the 2022 National Book Foundation’s 5 Under 35 Award and the winner of a 2017 PEN/Robert J. Dau Short Story Prize for Emerging Writers. She lives in Brooklyn, New York with her family.

Writing Workshop – Friday, November 14 (10:0 a.m. in the CLE classroom) – During this interactive session including simple writing exercises, we will examine the function of blending languages in writing. For current students only.
