Tara Sim is a YA author found in the wilds of the Bay Area, California. When she’s not writing about magic, murder, and mayhem, she drinks tea, wrangles cats, and sings opera. Sim grew up in California but braved the elements of Virginia to study English/creative writing at Hollins University. She is the author of The Dark Gods trilogy, the Scavenge the Stars duology, and the Timekeeper trilogy. BuzzFeed News called The City of Dusk, the first book in The Dark Gods trilogy, “a glorious tapestry of magic and murderous gods and a perfect entry for anyone looking for a new series starter.” Heidi Heilig, author of The Girl from Everywhere, said the first installment of Timekeeper “will keep hearts pounding and pages turning til the stunning conclusion. Reader beware: there’s magic in these pages.”
In Sim’s new YA series, We Shall Be Monsters, Frankenstein meets Indian mythology.
